Biography:

Information from Highland Council’s Register of Interments, which commenced in 1927. The lair owner when she died was her son Finlay MacLeod of Toscaig. She was staying with a daughter in Kishorn, and she was at least 90, if not older, when she died. She was buried here in Applecross, but her husband (Kenny) was buried at home in Harris. They were from the Bays of Harris and had a large family. His remains were taken to Harris in the fishing boat ‘True Love’, which was owned by his sons. This woman is the great-grandfather of Alasdair MacLeod, School House, Applecross; and Phemei Fraser, Home Farm, Applecross; and Ishbel Ferguson, Drumalochan, Applecross; amongst many others.
