Biography: A merchant, Dòmhnall Mòr (Donald Livingstone) was living in Fearnbeag before he came to Milltown. He was married twice, firstly to Anne MacKenzie. She was a servant in a house in Arrina in the 1881 census. It would seem that he came to Milltown after she died and he married Jessie Gillanders, sister of John Gillanders (Seòc), Toscaig; and also a sister of Murdo MacDonald’s (Murchadh Mòr) wife. Donald Livingstone (ex-Burnside, Applecross; later Howard Doris Centre, Lochcarron) was named after this Dòmhnall Mòr.
