Biography: Missionary and/or preacher in the Free Church of Scotland. The Highland Council’s Register of Interments gives his age when he died as 93. There was a blizzard on the day of his funeral, so the coffin bearers had to walk along the road in front of the Culduie houses because they couldn’t see where they were going on the main road. Angus Beaton took the ‘Catriona’ in to the Poll Creadha and conveyed the coffin as close as possible to Clachan.
