Biography: He was a fisherman for most of his time in Applecross. His father was from Dornie/Bundalloch area. He went out to Montana, with the ‘Muireach’ (Donald or John Muir, who called himself MacRae when he went ot the USA), and spent some time there. He was fishing when he returned to Applecross, possibly on the ‘Clan MacRae’. He met Buffalo Bill on his travels in the USA.
