Biography: Finlay and Donald’s mother (and brother John in Section IV; sister Fanny) was (Marion?) Gillies, a sister of Sìne Mhòr (Fanny MacLean’s mother), and Mrs Campbell in Culduie – all grand-daiughters of the Reverend Kenneth MacDonald that was the first minister in the Free Church in Camusterrach. He was born in Milltown. Finlay himself lived latterly in Glasgow.
