Biography:

The lettering on the gravestone is slightly ambiguous, but he and his wife had four children: Donald, Margaret (Maggie), Willie John, Mary. He was a fisherman to begin with, and then he was the engineer of the ‘Loch Toscaig’ from 1956 until 1960. He then joined the ‘Kathryn’ for seven or eight years before going on the ‘Catriona’. He worked at the Howard Doris oil rig yard in Kishorn. He latterly bought the fishing boats ‘Celia’ and ‘Michelle’ with his son Donald. He was a shellfish delivery driver after he stopped fishing. He died in a car accident at Achnashellach.
