Biography: Her age in the Register of Interments is given as “80 circ.” The owner of the lair at the time was her brother Alexander Gillies. On her deathbed, she is supposed to have asked for a drink of water from the Fuaran Dearg, a well near the shore below Culduie, on the Caman side. She was a sister of Duncan (Ceàrraidh).
