Biography: Peggy was the district nurse in Applecross until she got married. Peggy’s mother (Oighrig) was a sister of Finlay MacLeod (Fionlagh Chròlaig). Her mother lived for a time in what is now called ‘Frenchman’s Cottage’ in Upper Toscaig. Oighrig was buried in the Isle of Skye as her husband was from Braes.
