Willie Dushan had a share in the ownership of the fishing boat ‘Clan MacRae’. He had a glass eye – he lost one eye as a child when he was hit in the eye by an arrow as the children played. He was a trained blacksmith (?) and was  out in New York for a number of years He was ordered to return to Applecross by his father (Duncan, ‘Dushan’)  – something Willie always regretted.
