Biography: Finlay and Donald’s mother (and brother John in Section IV; sister Fanny) was (Marion?) Gillies, a sister of Sìne Mhòr (Fanny MacLean’s mother), and Mrs Campbell in Culduie – all grand-daiughters of the Reverend Kenneth MacDonald that was the first minister in the Free Church in Camusterrach. He was born in Milltown. Donald was in the Blind Insitutute in Inverness for many years, where he worked alongside Kenneth MacRae, Camusteel.
